The province of Ontario requires annual updating and refreshing skills related to life in long-term care. peopleCare commissioned a six-part video series in response to this mandate. We worked with peopleCare own staff, residents, family members and peopleCare locations. This made it possible to deliver a focused multi-use resource, improving staff buy in and ultimately the quality of care for its residents. Follow-up evaluation of training and retention helped measure the overall impact of the series.
